At a time when Africa’s technology story is shifting from hype to infrastructure, partnerships are becoming more important than pitch decks. The companies likely to shape the next phase of enterprise growth are not just building products, but the underlying systems that keep the digital economy running.

This shift was visible in Nairobi during the recent , where Crescent Tech Group and FinSense Africa signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding aimed at delivering integrated enterprise technology solutions across Africa.

The agreement, signed by Aashifa Saleh and Imran Sumra, reflects a growing reality: enterprises no longer want fragmented vendors, but unified transformation partners.

The two firms will combine infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity with API management, DevSecOps and AI-enabled engineering services, positioning themselves as a single delivery layer for enterprise digitization.

Speaking at the summit, Ian Chomba called it “a marriage of strengths in the market,” while Ishaq Kassam noted it delivers “solutions from hardware infrastructure to AI” under one structure.
